Heart Around Ankles is the story of my quest to realize Nick’s highest potential.
I wanted him to be happy, have a sense of humor and be able to make friends.
As a baby, Nick wouldn’t eat or sleep. He spent the first 6 months of school in the bathroom with one of his teachers.
Now, he is a typical teenager known for his charisma, sense of humor, intelligence and athleticism.
It was a LONG journey. One of worry and angst, but also one of triumph.
